We are seeking a Music Coordinator, UK & Nordics to join the dynamic London-based Music team working across Amazon MGM Studios Film and TV productions. The Music department's main role is to deliver compelling, high-quality music that supports the Studios' original programming. The Music Coordinator, UK & Nordics will work closely with the EU Head of Music and UK Music Executive as an integral part of the European music team, focused on supporting our productions in the UK and Nordics. The successful candidate will be highly organized and motivated to create streamlined processes to ensure efficiency. You will be expected to leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to partner effectively across internal divisions and with external partners. Key job responsibilities
- Tracking and managing music production assets and milestones including scripts, production and delivery schedules, budgets and audio materials
- Learning and creating policies and systems to manage music assets
- Collecting music deliverables and cue sheets for productions and ensuring third party publishing information is accurate and revising cue sheets as needed
- Managing music releases including soundtracks, score albums, singles and playlists
- Collecting and sharing music assets to Internal & External stakeholders
- Providing administrative support to the EU Head of Music and UK Music Executive, including scheduling, preparing meetings and agendas, managing and tracking action items
- Ad-hoc copyright and industry research
- Assisting in the coordination of other music operations as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent on the job experience
- Experience in the music industry
- A demonstrable interest and knowledge of music, original scores, and soundtracks
- Ability to multi-task & prioritise, with strong follow-up skills
- Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Studio, agency, label, publisher or music supervision experience
- Strong organisational skills and a keen sense to detail
- Working understanding of music synchronization rights
- Experience in drafting music cue sheets
- Experience with Soundmouse, DISCO, DSPs and CMO Databases
- Working knowledge of Airtable
- Experience with scheduling and calendar management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment where there is a level of ambiguity
