Responsibilities
- Lead revenue and capital budget monitoring for designated service areas.
- Support annual budget setting and the Council's Medium Term Financial Plan.
- Produce and oversee the HRA rent-setting process.
- Interpret new legislation/funding changes and assess financial impact.
- Complete statutory returns, grant claims, and audit information.
- Provide high-quality financial advice to senior officers and elected members.
- Develop and deliver financial training across the Council.
- Drive continual improvement of finance systems and processes.
Qualifications
