We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Finance & Corporate Resources team. In this role, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salary payments, allowances, pensions, and HMRC submissions. You will handle payroll queries, input data such as overtime and expenses, and ensure all transactions are correctly authorised and processed to strict deadlines. You will also liaise with internal teams, external providers, and auditors, helping to maintain strong working relationships and ensure compliance with financial regulations and data protection requirements.
About You
- At least 2 years’ payroll experience within a large organisation
- Good understanding of payroll processes and systems
- Strong numerical, keyboard, and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
- GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths (or equivalent)
