We are looking for a Charges Team Leader to support the Housing Income Manager in shaping the service. You will play a key role in delivering statutory service charges, recharges, and income recovery services for tenants and leaseholders, ensuring compliance with housing legislation and best practice.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the Charges Team and driving performance.
- Deliver accurate and transparent service charges, supporting income collection to maximise Housing Revenue Account performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and consultation requirements while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with knowledge of housing service charges and income management with strong analytical and problem‐solving skills. You will have the ability to interpret and apply legislation with excellent communication and customer service skills. You should hold a minimum level 3 qualification related to housing management and social housing practices with at least 3 years’ experience specific to the role or with transferable skills within the social housing sector. You will also have at least 2 years’ recent experience in a senior or managerial role with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
