The Global Tax Team is seeking a hands-on indirect tax professional to help build and scale Reddit’s global indirect tax function.
As Reddit continues to grow as a public company and expand its products and commercial offerings, this person will own critical elements of our US and international indirect tax operations, including US S&U tax and VAT/GST.
You will partner closely with the business to translate complex tax requirements into practical decisions, reliable systems, and scalable processes.
In keeping with Reddit values, the successful candidate will operate with an open mindset, exercise sound judgment, and “value the human” in every interaction.
This position will report to the International Tax Senior Manager.
Responsibilities: Manage key elements of Reddit’s global indirect tax function across B2B and B2C revenue streams, including US S&U tax, VAT/GST, DSTs, and other transactional taxes.
Oversee indirect tax registrations, return compliance, payments, exemption documentation, taxability determinations, and related controls across multiple jurisdictions.
Own and improve indirect tax processes and systems, including product and taxability mapping, exemptions, transaction testing, system integrations, data validation, and issue resolution.
Serve as the indirect tax cross-functional partner for new products and initiatives, commercial arrangements, billing changes, and geographic expansion.
Monitor and implement evolving e-invoicing, digital reporting, and real-time reporting requirements.
