We are looking for a Finance Manager to join Reddit’s International Strategic Finance team and partner directly with Sales leadership across LCS, Mid Market, SMB, and Channel Partnerships. This role sits at the center of how our international business scales. You’ll help shape revenue forecasts, build discipline around KPIs, support ROI tracking of major investments and bring clarity to ambiguous questions by knowing where the data lives and how to turn it into actionable insights. You’ll have access to mentorship and strong cross functional partners but you’ll own your analyses end to end and be trusted with real decisions. You’ll start as a key individual contributor, with meaningful opportunities to grow into broader leadership as the team expands.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with International Sales leadership to understand revenue drivers, pipeline dynamics, supply nuance and performance trends and translate these into high quality forecasts.
- Communicate forecast insights to Strategic Finance consolidations and broader teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and business context.
- Build and operationalize variance analysis reporting across P&L KPIs like productivity, revenue, margin and OpEx creating a defined monthly/quarterly cadence.
- Become a master of data sources (Adaptive, Looker, Salesforce, Sheets, SQL environments) and respond to ad hoc questions quickly, accurately, and proactively.
- Identify what data is needed to answer the question, not just pull what already exists.
- Stand up a formal finance KPI review process for International Sales (this does not exist today, you’ll build it).
- Build reporting in Sheets/Excel and partner with cross functionals to evolve recurring dashboards into scalable, self service tools.
- Support core forecasting cycles initially, with the opportunity to take full ownership over time.
- Work cross functionally with Consolidated Strategic Finance, Corporate FP&A, Revenue Strategy & Ops, Accounting, Product & Marketing to drive alignment and insight.
- Some travel may be required (US / Amsterdam) as the team and business continue to scale.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in Strategic Finance, investment banking, consulting, or a highly analytical business role.
- Extremely strong analytical and logical problem solving skills, you enjoy figuring out how systems, processes, and businesses actually work.
- Google Sheets/Excel mastery (modeling, complex formulas, building clean and repeatable reporting).
- SQL familiarity, comfortable pulling and editing queries (full independence is a plus).
- Experience with tools such as Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, and Looker (or similar).
- Proven ability to work in ambiguity. You can frame a problem, find the right data, and move forward without waiting for perfect inputs.
- Strong communicator who can synthesize complexity and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Curious, proactive, and biased toward action: you ask questions, test hypotheses, and iterate quickly.
- Comfortable moving fast, occasionally breaking things, and then fixing them better than before.
- Nice to have: familiarity with ads or marketplace businesses, but more important is raw curiosity, intellectual rigor, and willingness to learn.
How You Work
- You’re okay getting stuck and asking for help when needed. You don’t spin. You clarify, prioritize, and execute.
- You treat ambiguity as an opportunity to create structure.
- You hold yourself to a high performance bar and thrive in an intense, supportive environment.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- You’ll be the second international Strategic Finance hire, meaning real ownership and visibility.
- International is one of Reddit’s fastest growing, highest priority focus areas.
- You’ll help build foundational processes from the ground up and influence decisions across multiple markets and revenue channels.
- You’ll touch forecasting, strategy, operations, and performance and see your work show up in real outcomes.
