Our services range from investigating competing rights, handling oppositions, drafting and filing applications, and maintaining portfolios. We resolve disputes about IP, working closely with other leading legal firms if it becomes necessary to resort to the courts.

THE WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a fully qualified Trade Mark Attorney with 4-5 years of PQE to join the trade mark team on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service for an existing portfolio of clients, working independently with client care guidance from partners and working with our trainees and associates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will play an important role in our team, to provide maternity leave cover for a senior attorney in the team.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Day to day trade mark filing and prosecution work
  • Trade mark opposition work
  • Working directly with clients to manage budgets
  • Searches and advice on selection of new marks
  • Advice on watch report hits
  • Recordals

SUPPORT PROVIDED BY:

  • Paralegals dedicated to trade mark work
  • Records team responsible for Inprotech deadline monitoring
  • Trainees
