We’re looking for a Senior Business Systems Manager to lead the delivery, development, and support of a portfolio of complex business applications, taking major projects from the initial development stage right through to full operational handover.
This is a senior role that blends strong project management with deep application lifecycle experience. You’ll lead a skilled team to take major projects from concept to reality, ensuring smooth deployment, adoption, and long-term operational success. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to make sure our systems meet strategic objectives, are delivered to the highest standard, and are ready to perform in a live environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of complex enterprise-scale projects from early-stage development through to full operational go-live.
- Apply project management best practices (PRINCE2, Agile, SCRUM) to plan, execute, and monitor all phases of delivery.
- Direct and mentor a technical team to ensure high-quality outputs, on time and within budget.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing clear progress updates and managing expectations.
- Oversee suppliers and partners to ensure delivery meets contractual, operational, and strategic requirements.
- Champion DevOps practices to improve deployment speed, reliability, and integration.
- Resolve high-priority incidents and provide robust third-line support during implementation and early operations.
- Drive process improvements and embed best practice across the team.

About You:
- Significant experience in senior business systems management roles.
- Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects from development to full operational handover.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading technical/software development teams.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, SCRUM).
- Skilled in using Azure DevOps, Jira, or Monday.com to manage development pipelines and track delivery.
- Confident working in high-tempo, business-critical environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
