We\’re looking for a Banking Operations Team Leader to join our UK & I Finance team in Bath. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the Banking Operations Manager in driving operational excellence across our banking functions and play a key part in shaping the future of our Finance Operations structure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team
- Overseeing daily banking operations including reconciliations, payment processing, and expense claims
- Ensuring timely and accurate cash posting and reporting
- Supporting training and professional development within the team
- Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and government compliance reporting
- Working with stakeholders across the business to support finance operations

About you
- Proven experience in Finance Operations
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage, motivate and develop a team
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a readiness to learn new systems
- An AAT qualification would be advantageous
- Above all, you\’re a team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
