We are currently recruiting on behalf of a regional construction contractor for an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead night operations on a key Demolition and Build scheme in Derby.
Senior Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all night-time site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of demolition and build activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to meet programme deadlines.
- Maintain rigorous health & safety standards and ensure full compliance with site policies.
- Conduct regular night briefings and toolbox talks.
- Liaise with day team and project management to ensure seamless handover and communication.
- Monitor site progress and report on performance, risks, and milestones.
Senior Site Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience managing demolition and/or build projects, ideally in a senior site role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage night teams effectively.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid at Work.
- Experience working night shifts on construction projects is essential.
- Asbestos Awareness and Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable).
