Freelance News / Front Page Editor role for weekend cover and ad hoc midweek cover. Shifts are predominantly for weekend coverage, with several 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. The weekends include shifts starting as early as 7:30am and finishing as late as 9:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekend cover (Saturdays and Sundays) and ad hoc midweek coverage as required.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a good news sense and would have ideally worked in a similar role for either a leading online news provider or media owner.

Compensation & Work Arrangements

  • This role is remote and paid via PAYE. Applicants must be based in the UK; overseas applications cannot be considered.
  • Pay rate: £20.70 per hour.
