This is an opportunity to join a growing financial services company as a Lead DevSecOps Engineer and shape the future of secure cloud infrastructure. My client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps engineer who has experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure and monitoring systems. In the role, you will be responsible for leading the formation of a new DevOps/Security function and will have a significant impact on the technical strategy. This role will require great stakeholder management, leadership and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and lead DevOps and Security practices for the Azure cloud environment.
  • Design and develop secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable secure software development and deployment.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response.
  • Stay ahead of security trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer in Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Deep understanding of secure SDLC and DevOps methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSP) preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
