We are looking for a Content Designer to join a fast‑paced SaaS environment on a 12-month contract, starting ASAP, paying £290 per day via umbrella. This hybrid role is based in London, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who thrives at the intersection of visual storytelling, brand design, and UX. You will be embedded in a cross‑functional sprint team, collaborating with product managers, engineers, marketers, and customer experience managers to create beautiful, user‑focused content that drives customer engagement, adoption, and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high‑impact, customer‑facing content that combines strong writing, layout, and visual communication.
- Create engaging content across all stages of the customer journey, including onboarding flows, user guides, visual tutorials, in‑app messaging, tooltips, feature announcements, email nurture campaigns, lifecycle communications, customer stories, testimonials, advocacy materials (infographics, social cards, PDFs), event and webinar assets, including landing pages, promo banners, presentation decks, and knowledge‑base visuals.
- Work closely with the sprint team to contribute to iterative product and campaign development.
- Translate technical or complex product information into simple, visually engaging formats.
- Use design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Canva, Illustrator, and Webflow to create content experiences.
- Refine content based on customer data, feedback, and testing results.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience as a content designer, visual designer, or marketing designer, ideally in SaaS or tech.
- Strong writing skills combined with visual design expertise.
- Portfolio showcasing visually rich, customer‑centric work across emails, onboarding flows, visuals, presentations, and other digital assets.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Webflow.
- Working knowledge of UX/UI principles and accessibility best practices.
- Experience working in agile or sprint‑based environments with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work and deliver quality content quickly.
This role is perfect for someone who is confident working independently as well as collaboratively, with both design and copywriting responsibilities, and who can handle a fast‑paced workload.
