About the Role
As a Restaurant Server at RedCat, you’ll deliver outstanding service that makes every guest feel welcome and valued. You’ll guide them through the menu, take accurate orders, serve food and drinks promptly, and ensure their experience is smooth from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the rest of the FOH team and the kitchen, making sure communication is clear and service is efficient. Whether it’s recommending the perfect drink pairing, remembering a regular’s favourite dish, or handling special requests, you’ll do it all with warmth, professionalism, and a smile. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and passion for hospitality will help create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service – Greet and seat guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks promptly.
- Menu Knowledge – Be confident in explaining dishes, specials, and drink options, including allergens.
- Upselling – Recommend dishes, drinks, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and boost sales.
- Presentation – Ensure tables are set and maintained to RedCat’s standards.
- Teamwork – Work collaboratively with colleagues and the kitchen to keep service running smoothly.
- Problem-Solving – Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Payments – Use EPOS systems to process orders and payments accurately.
