Event Planner – Full Time | Essex | Up to £35k OTE + Benefits

You’ll Craft Unforgettable Weddings, Conferences, Private Parties And Corporate Bookings, Working With Complete Autonomy Across Evenings, Weekends (including Christmas), Delivered On a Flexible Rotating Rota. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Build and manage event bookings: client communication, guest visits, quotes.
  • Develop timelines, coordinate suppliers, confirm logistics
  • Oversee event delivery: manage team, troubleshoot onsite
  • Handle post-event tasks: invoicing, feedback, supply follow-ups
  • Maintain venue standards with the operations team
  • Ensure IT/EPOS/PDQ processes are smooth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – proficient in office 360 applications

What We\’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in venue or wedding/event planning role
  • Excellent communication, calm under pressure, attention to detail
  • IT‑savvy: EPOS, PDQ, PMS and digital bookings
  • Friendly, professional, exceptional presentation
  • Willing to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays
