We're looking for an experienced Content Writer to join a globally recognised entertainment and consumer brand, helping to create engaging editorial content for a highly trafficked fan-focused digital platform.

The Role

As Content Writer, you'll be responsible for developing and publishing a range of editorial content including feature articles, news stories, quizzes, and audience-focused content experiences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, social media, CRM, and digital publishing to deliver engaging content that supports key campaigns and business objectives.

You'll combine creativity with data-driven decision-making, using audience insights and performance metrics to inform content planning and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly editorial planning by recommending content ideas based on audience insights, performance data, seasonal moments, and marketing initiatives.
  • Write and develop engaging long-form features, news articles, quizzes, and other editorial content.
  • Manage and update existing content, identifying opportunities to refresh and resurface high-performing articles.
  • Contribute ideas for new content formats and editorial approaches based on digital and cultural trends.
  • Build, publish, and maintain content within a CMS, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Source and select approved imagery and multimedia assets to support editorial content.
  • Maintain content records and publishing workflows using Airtable.
  • Support content approvals and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with editorial and legal requirements.
  • Monitor content performance and share insights to help shape future content strategies.
  • Work closely with Social Media and CRM teams to align content plans and maximise audience reach.
  • Occasionally support event coverage, interviews, and live content creation opportunities.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in editorial, content writing, digital publishing, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience writing engaging consumer-facing content for digital audiences.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) to create and publish content.
  • Proficient with Airtable and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience using audience insights and analytics to inform content decisions.
  • Knowledge of fan communities, entertainment, publishing, lifestyle, or pop culture content is highly desirable.
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent professional experience.
