My client is seeking a skilled Mid/Lead JavaScript Engineer to be the first engineering hire, working alongside a visionary CTO to build innovative software solutions that enable companies to reduce their energy consumption by up to 20%. As a Mid/Lead JavaScript Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of the CTO while eventually transitioning into a leadership role. Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full Software Development life cycle, collaborating closely with the CTO
- Contribute to building the product roadmap and executing it effectively
- Engage in recruitment activities to expand the engineering team
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Contribute to product design and architecture decisions
- Develop robust and interactive websites and web applications
- Utilize frontend technologies such as VueJS, NuxtJS, React, or Angular
- Apply backend experience with NextJS, Express, or Koa
- Demonstrate expertise in JavaScript, with some knowledge of Typescript
- Integrate with external REST APIs and implement GraphQL solutions
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality
