Working for an industry leading, high-growth SaaS business, the Senior Software Engineer will build innovative next-gen solutions that are at the forefront of the industry. In this role, the Senior Software Engineer will be given full autonomy, taking ownership from design phase through to deployment, covering primarily backend, with some front end too (fine if you've only got backend experience). This area is the future of the company (and the industry) and as such has strong investment and visibility.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, build and deployment of industry leading software solutions. You'll work in collaboration with product, design and the wider engineering team to improve and scale existing features, as well as build brand new ones.
The Senior Software Engineer will have:
- Strong backend or full-stack software development experience
- Strong backend coding experience, ideally in either Golang (Go) or Java
- Any front end experience is a bonus (e.g. React), but not a must-have
- Experience with cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP - Google Cloud
- Experience with data warehouses e.g. BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Open to new AI tools and technologies
- Could come from roles like Senior Full Stack Engineer or Senior Backend Engineer or making the step up from 'mid'
They offer a great package on top of your basic salary, including a bonus, stock, private healthcare and a generous pension. With the growth that they are going through, there is also plenty of opportunity for career progression.
