EYFS Teaching and Learning Assistant - Level 2

Redcastle Family School is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, child‑focused Teaching and Learning Assistant to support our EYFS cohorts. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on outcomes for children.

• Has high expectations.
• Encourages children to develop in all aspects of their learning, including both socially and emotionally, promoting the school’s nurturing ethos.
• Appreciates the need to work as a team to face challenges together.
• Has the ability to reflect on and develop their classroom practice.
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Has a Level 2 Early Years qualification, or is working toward one.
• Has Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training upon appointment).

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
