We are seeking to appoint a DFG Technical Officer to join our Handyperson & Adaptations Team (HAT), working as part of a dedicated team that supports disabled and vulnerable residents to remain safe, independent and living well in their own homes. The role plays a key part in delivering home adaptation schemes from initial survey through to completion.

You will undertake home visits to assess feasibility and develop appropriate adaptation solutions, prepare drawings and schedules of work, and support procurement activity through quotations and tenders. You will monitor contractors on site, carry out inspections, manage agreed variations, and ensure works are completed safely, compliantly and to a high standard, working closely with partner agencies, contractors and professionals.
