In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our procurement team, from handling essential procurement administration to conducting market research and engaging with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes. As your confidence and experience grow, you'll take the lead on delivering tenders for goods, works and services across a diverse and meaningful range of projects that directly benefit our local community.
This role is part of the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) Regional Procurement Apprenticeship Programme. The programme supports the 12 North East Local Authorities to develop and nurture talented individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds to become the public sector procurement professionals of the future.
Qualifications you will gain during this apprenticeship:

- Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply
- Level 6 Senior Procurement Supply Chain Professional
