As a Health Visitor, you will provide high quality, evidence based support to families from pregnancy through to the early years. You will promote healthy lifestyles, child development, emotional wellbeing and positive parenting while identifying and responding to health and safeguarding needs at an early stage. You will work in partnership with families, communities and other professionals to provide personalised support, reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for children.
The role includes delivering the Healthy Child Programme, undertaking assessments, providing health promotion and education, and contributing to safeguarding and early intervention. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, proactive and committed to delivering family‑centred care, with excellent communication and partnership‑working skills. We have permanent vacancies (variety of hours) for Specialist Community Public Health Nurses – Health Visitors. You will be aligned to one of our three geographical locality teams.
