Role Description
The Junction Foundation are looking for an inspiring and proactive Youth Support Worker to join their team and help deliver a needs-led service to children and young people across their communities. In this varied and rewarding role, you will support service delivery through detached youth work in neighbourhoods, structured group sessions within our delivery models, and open access youth work provision.
Purpose of the Role
- To support service delivery through a variety of delivery methods including Detached Youth Work within communities and neighbourhoods, structured group work sessions within the Junctions delivery models and open access youth work sessions.
- To support positive outcomes for children and young people.
- To assist in the planning, delivery, evaluation and recording of activities and support for young people working within the principles and values of The Junction at all times.
- To support Junction project workers and coordinators make sessions for young people fun, meaningful and safe.
