As usual, there will be a sing around for any early birds and locals on the Thursday evening to kick off the festival in style!
Role Description
Saltburn Folk Festival are seeking Production and Logistics volunteers for their 2026 festival running from the 7th to the 9th of August. Production and Logistics volunteers make the Festival run smoothly by getting things in the right places and making venues look good. They seek people who are well organised and reliable, willing to pay attention in briefings and to follow policies and procedures. Physical fitness for moving equipment is required. Use of a car or van for some tasks would be a bonus, but not essential as venues are only a few minutes apart on foot or on a bike.
Purpose of the Role
- Deliver supplies, equipment and messages to locations around the centre of Saltburn.
- Make sure venues are safe and ready for use (this may include setting up stages, putting out chairs, moving tables etc).
- Help venue managers and stewards, performers and technical staff as required.
- Clear the venue at the end of events, cleaning, tidying, moving furniture etc.
You get to meet people and be part of a team. You’ll be using your skills to increase the numbers of people enjoying the festival and to help make the festival financially sustainable. All volunteers get a free pass so they can join in the festival fun and hear lots of music. Free camping is also on offer if you want to stay in Saltburn during the festival.
