Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Festival & Events Assistant (6 Months FTC) to be based in the UK. The Festival Activator Programme is one of the most important parts of the Red Bull UK Festival & Events Strategy. You’re the face of the company across the festival circuit; this is a fixed term role in our Customer Marketing team. You’ll work a series of festivals from week commencing 19th May to week commencing 15th September over 15+ weekends totalling 50+ days.

As the Festival & Events Assistant, you’ll be working alongside our Festival Team to plan and organise the summer for the Festival Activator team. You will be in charge of all advancing & scheduling for our internship programme, overseen and assisted by our Senior Festival Specialist. Responsibilities include:

  • Organising accreditation for the teams on site
  • Booking travel & accommodation
  • Scheduling
  • Ticket management
  • Reporting
  • Prepping information packs each week
  • Looking after our Festival Activator team through monthly 121’s

Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to lead on some of your own shows, handling all logistics & pre-planning, supported by the Senior Festival Specialist. There will be some inconsistent hours, long days and a lot of travelling – the Festival & Events Assistant will have to be able to work hard and play hard! A clean driver’s license is required in order to hire cars & vans throughout the summer.

We will supply you with a mobile phone and a laptop to lead on all advancing and be in contact with various POCs onsite. It is vital you are able to commit to working most weekends in the summer from Monday 18th May to Tuesday 14th September. Also, be available for an assessment day for the Festival Activators on Tuesday 14th April, should your application be successful. Although you will be exhausted, you will have the best summer ever.

We’d be looking for the successful candidate to start in early April in order to be fully prepared for the Festival Season ahead and be fully involved with the hiring of our Festival Activator team. You will be supporting our Senior Festival Specialist to help organise our wider Festival Strategy, which includes:

  • Booking travel & accommodation
  • Creating and sharing schedules for our Festival Activator Team
  • Ticket management – helping us control our ticket allocations
  • Reporting weekly on the previous week’s events
  • Prepping information packs for our Festival Activator Team to utilise on site
  • Taking control of a number of shows, leading on all logistical management through to delivery, supported by the Senior Festival Specialist

Working as part of the wider Festival Activator team involves overseeing any Red Bull bar or activation placed within a Festival or Event to ensure a quality brand experience for consumers. Experience on all Microsoft software – Outlook, Excel & Teams preferred. We make recruiting decisions based on experience, skills, potential and talent: everyone is welcome here.
