We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to work as the Leader’s Caseworker within the Leader's Office on a 1 year fixed-term contract.

You will need experience of providing an effective support service, preferably within a political, government or advocacy environment. You will take sole responsibility for dealing with the day-to-day Leader's casework at the direction of Senior Officers within the Team; and the Leader of the Council. You will also assist other staff members within the office to provide administrative support to the office of the Leader of the Council.

The role will involve drafting and producing letters, briefing notes and other materials needed for strong communication between the Leader and the Public. You will need excellent IT, written and communication skills and an understanding of working in a high-profile environment. You will be able to work to deadlines in a pressured environment. Knowledge of the Redbridge area and its issues is desirable.
