Due to the rapid and sustained growth of our provision across two sites, we are expanding our team and looking to appoint exceptional professionals who are passionate about making a difference. This growth reflects the increasing demand for high-quality autism teachers and our commitment to getting it right for every young person we serve. It is an exciting and pivotal time to join Little Heath School and play a key role in shaping the next phase of our development.
Requirements
- We are seeking a skilled SEND Teacher with experience in working with pupils with ASD and/or SLD.
- Someone who is resilient, creative, and highly motivated to make a meaningful difference to pupils’ lives.
- You must also be a team player who values collaboration and will contribute positively to our dedicated and supportive staff team.
- The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach and will cater for the full 19 age range.
Start date: September 2026
Salary and allowances: Starting point on the teachers Mainscale will depend on what grade you are currently on. As a special school, you will also earn SEN 1 allowance of £2,787 per year.
