Learning Support Assistants (LSA) will start from 1st September 2026. This is a permanent contract.
Experience/Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred.
Pay Scale: LBR3 / £15.68 - £15.90 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: 30 hours per week, 43.77 weeks per year, term time plus 3 INSET days.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Special Educational Needs Co‑ordinator and Class Teachers.
- Supervise SEND pupils on a one‑to‑one basis or in class and at lunchtime.
- Provide enthusiastic, energetic support and adapt to flexible duties and approaches.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Genuine professional interest in working with children with special needs.
- Experience working with special educational needs pupils is essential.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt and be flexible in duties and approaches.
