Description
Little Heath School is seeking an ambitious, highly skilled and inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead on Autism Practice, SEND Development and Specialist Provision.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with SEND and who has the expertise, vision and drive to develop outstanding autism-informed practice across the school.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for: autism practice and SEND pedagogy; professional development and induction for LSAs and specialist staff; specialist interventions and provision; therapeutic and multidisciplinary practice; behaviour and Positive behaviour Support; careers careers education and preparation for adulthood; and the development of a strong culture of professional learning and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a leader who has strong knowledge and understanding of autism and complex SEN.
