We're looking for a Key Account Manager who genuinely enjoys working with retailer affiliate, marketing and PPC teams to help them succeed. Someone who gets satisfaction from solving problems, building trust, and delivering exceptional results through strong relationships. If you have a strong track record of relationship-building and delivering results, we'll teach you the specifics of affiliate and PPC.
The Role
- You'll manage a portfolio of Enterprise retail clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their affiliate managers, marketing teams, and PPC specialists. You'll help these teams get the best results from their performance marketing campaigns.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Client Relationship Management
- Build strong working relationships with retailer affiliate managers, marketing teams and PPC specialists.
- Understand each retailer's performance marketing strategy and how we fit into it.
- Develop practical account plans with realistic KPIs for each retail client.
- Run regular business reviews that actually add value to their affiliate and PPC campaigns.
- Keep the CRM up to date (yes, it's boring, but it matters).
- Retention and Growth
- Ensure clients renew because you've delivered tangible outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to deliver additional value through complementary solutions.
- Hit your quarterly targets by focusing on client outcomes, not pushy sales tactics.
- Forecast accurately based on the real value you're delivering.
- Day-to-Day Excellence
- Learn and understand your retail clients' businesses, their marketing goals and campaign objectives.
- Provide practical guidance that drives real outcomes for their teams.
- Coordinate with our internal teams (Sales, Traffic Management, Marketing) to deliver results.
- Handle escalations professionally when things go wrong (because sometimes they do).
- Focus relentlessly on what moves the needle for your clients.
- Working with Events and Resources
- Encourage client engagement through our events and leadership resources.
- Share best practices and insights that help clients achieve their goals.
What We're Looking For
- Essential Experience
- You've got a proven track record of building and maintaining exceptional B2B client relationships.
- You're outcomes-focused, with evidence of delivering measurable results for clients.
- You can demonstrate how your relationship-building has driven real business value.
- You can juggle multiple retail accounts without dropping the ball.
- The Right Approach
- You genuinely care about client outcomes and measure your success by theirs.
- You're organised and prepared for client meetings.
- You can analyse data and turn it into actionable recommendations.
- You communicate clearly, whether the news is good or bad.
- You solve problems rather than pass them on.
- You build lasting relationships based on trust and results.
- What Really Matters
- You thrive at exceptional customer success and relationship-building.
- You're driven by achieving tangible outcomes for your clients.
- You find satisfaction in delivering outstanding value to retail clients.
- You're comfortable learning new sectors quickly (we'll teach you affiliate and PPC).
- You build trust through consistent delivery, not false promises.
Why This Works for the Right Person
This role is perfect if you're passionate about building relationships that deliver measurable outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to become a trusted partner to leading Enterprise retailers, making a real difference to their performance.
We don't expect you to know affiliate marketing or PPC inside out. We do expect you to bring exceptional relationship skills and an outcomes-focused mindset. We'll teach you the technical bits.
You'll work with established Enterprise retailers, have the support you need to succeed, and be recognised for the exceptional value you bring through your relationship expertise.
What We Offer
- A customer success role where relationship excellence and outcomes are truly valued.
- Enterprise retail clients with established affiliate and PPC programmes.
- Full training on affiliate marketing and PPC (we'll teach you everything you need).
- A team that values doing the job well.
- Competitive salary that rewards exceptional performance.
- We offer 25 days annual leave plus all UK public holidays with the opportunity to buy more.
- The tools and support to actually help your clients succeed.
- Company pension.
- Discretionary bonus.
- Group life assurance of 10x fixed annual salary up to £500,000 cover.
- Training budget.
- Charity donation salary sacrifice match scheme.
- Charity personal event donation match scheme.
- External counselling service available.
- Access to the UK bike2work scheme and Electric Vehicle schemes.
- Full ongoing training is provided within the team and from external training source.
Interested?
If you're thinking, "this sounds like a company that values outcomes and relationship excellence over sector experience," we should talk.
Tell us about your track record of building exceptional client relationships and the outcomes you've achieved. Show us examples of how you've delivered measurable value through relationship excellence. Don't worry if you haven't worked in affiliate or PPC before, we can teach you that.
