The Challenge: We are Europe’s largest Performance CSS, managing £1.2B in GMV for retailers such as B&Q, Boots, and JD Sports. Our mission is to 4x our impact to £5B in 24 months using proprietary AI that finds opportunities others can’t see.

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll own your outbound pipeline and be directly responsible for generating new business opportunities that fuel our growth. You’ll prospect, open doors, and build relationships with e-commerce retailers, agencies, and affiliate partners to promote Redbrain’s performance-led Google Shopping solutions. This is a front-line role for someone with a genuine hunter mentality: proactive, resilient, and energised by winning new business in a competitive market. You’ll work closely with senior sales professionals, giving you direct exposure to the full sales cycle as deals progress from first touch to close. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in business development, sales, performance marketing, or account management.

Location: Birmingham (2 days a week in office, 3 days remote).

Salary: £30,000 + OTE.

Department: Commercial Team.

Start Date: ASAP - reviewing applications weekly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify target retailers that are a strong fit for Redbrain’s Google Shopping solutions, using CRM tools, data platforms, and manual research.
  • Run structured outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to drive awareness and generate interest from target brands and partners.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with agencies and affiliate networks to secure introductions to key brand stakeholders and generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Create and distribute short-form content and case studies to showcase Redbrain’s value and performance across Google Shopping and the affiliate channel.
  • Secure qualified discovery and demo meetings for the sales team, providing clear research on the prospect, their business, and their growth potential.
  • Track, analyse, and report on outreach performance by channel (email, LinkedIn, etc.) to senior leadership, including response rates, meetings booked, and conversion to pipeline.
  • Use data and feedback from Sales and Marketing to continuously refine messaging, targeting, and channels to improve meeting quality and cost-per-opportunity.
  • Shadow senior sales professionals as they run and close deals, building your understanding of the full sales cycle.

What We Need From You:

  • A track record in advertising sales, performance marketing, affiliate marketing, or B2B sales, with demonstrable experience in solution-based selling.
  • Experience in partner, agency, or affiliate development, including identifying, onboarding, and growing commercial relationships that drive measurable revenue.
  • A strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem: how brands use Google Shopping, performance media, affiliate networks, product feeds, and tracking platforms to acquire customers and scale profitably.
  • Commercially sharp and comfortable running discovery, qualification, and negotiation conversations with brands, agencies, and network partners.
  • Experience selling into e-commerce leaders, Heads of Performance, Paid Media, or Digital Marketing who own budgets for Google Shopping and affiliate activity.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, both on the phone and in writing.
  • Target-driven, resilient, and self-motivated. You thrive under pressure and are energised by hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
