Red Box Teachers are currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)– Behaviour Lead, and also a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEND Lead at a wonderful Primary School in East London – E3.
Duration: Temp to Perm
Type: Full Time
Pay: Negotiable/Pay Scale
Location: East London – E3
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with Special Educational Needs including autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs
- Experience working in a UK classroom setting and primary school curriculum
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent qualification
- Excellent English, Maths and ICT skills
- Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans for students
- Assist with the development of lesson plans and other instructional materials
- Passion for teaching and highly motivated to contribute to school ethos and values while adhering to all school policies
- Commitment and flexibility, able to demonstrate resourcefulness and to inspire children to reach their full potential with enthusiasm and dedication
- Excellent behaviour management skills and strategies
- Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team as well as individually
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to arrange for one
- Excellent references covering at least the last 2 years of employment
