Redborne Upper School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technology Technician to join our D&T department. In this role, you won’t just be managing tools - you’ll be a vital part of the team that helps students turn concepts into reality.
About the Role
- Prepare materials, equipment, and machinery for daily practical lessons.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Support teachers during busy practical sessions, providing an extra pair of eyes and hands.
- Manage department stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Who We’re Looking For
- Is a practical individual with experience in a workshop or technical environment (school experience is a bonus, but not essential!).
- Has knowledge of health and safety practices, or a willingness to learn.
- Has a patient, approachable manner and a genuine desire to support young people.
