ATTENDANCEOFFICER
Start Date: November 2026 or ASAP
Contract: Full-time 37 hours per week. Term timeonly plus 5 training days
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday8.00am - 3.30pm
Salary: Level 3B (Point 6 - 8)
Actual Salary Range: Β£22,859.00 - Β£23,594.00(dependent on experience).

Are you passionate about supporting young peopleand helping them succeed in education? We are seeking a dedicated and proactiveSchool Attendance Officer to join our pastoral support team.
Aboutthe Role
In this vital role, you will monitor dailyattendance, analyse data trends and work directly with students, parents andcommunity agencies to remove barriers to regular school attendance. If you havestrong communication skills, experience with school database systems and acommitment to student welfare, we would love to hear from you.
Working in a school requires you tohave strong organisational and communication skills. There will be face-to-faceinteraction with students, members of staff, parents and external agencies.

- Has experience working with children or youngpeople in an educational, youth work or care setting.
- Is a strong and active listener.
- Is calm, resilient and has a non-judgmentalapproach under pressure.
- Has knowledge of safeguarding practices and childprotection procedures.
- Has excellent communication and administrativeabilities.
- Has a passion for working in a school environment.
- Has excellent inter-personal skills with students,staff, parents/guardians, external agencies and members of the public.
- Works well in a team.
- Has the ability to thrive under pressure in a busyenvironment with a varied workload.
