Overview
Our client is a growing advisory firm with a strong reputation in the mid-market transaction services space. They advise private equity, corporate and entrepreneurial clients on buy-side, sell-side and refinancing transactions across a broad range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Transaction Services professional at Assistant Manager or Manager level to join their London team.
The Role
You will work on a varied portfolio of financial due diligence projects, supporting clients through the deal process and helping them understand the key financial, commercial and operational drivers of target businesses. The role will involve:
- Leading and supporting buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence assignments.
- Reviewing financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital, net debt and cash flow.
- Preparing clear, insightful and commercially focused due diligence reports.
- Managing day-to-day client communication and project delivery.
- Supporting junior team members with analysis, modelling and report writing.
- Working closely with senior leadership on pitches, proposals and business development activity.
- Building relationships with private equity, corporate and lender clients.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate must have:
- Current or recent experience working in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence.
- Experience operating at Assistant Manager or Manager level already.
- Strong understanding of financial due diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital and net debt analysis.
- Excellent report-writing and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience gained in a professional services, advisory or corporate finance environment.
- Confidence managing multiple workstreams and deadlines in a transaction-led environment.
Candidates must have permanent right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must also already be working at Assistant Manager or Manager level within Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence. Candidates from audit without TS experience will not be suitable for this position.
