The Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing mid-market professional services firm looking to appoint a senior Corporate Finance Lead Advisory Partner to support the continued expansion of its UK deal advisory capability. This is a strategic hire for an experienced dealmaker with a proven track record in originating and leading mid-market M&A transactions, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role offers significant autonomy, national platform support, and the opportunity to shape and grow a regional presence within an entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate can be based anywhere across the UK and will play a key role in developing both regional and national origination activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and originate mid-market corporate finance advisory mandates across the UK
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, management teams, private equity houses, banks, lawyers, and wider professional introducers
- Advise clients on sell-side, buy-side, fundraising, and strategic advisory assignments
- Drive business development activity and convert opportunities into fee-generating mandates
- Build and enhance the firm’s profile within the regional business community
- Lead transaction execution teams through the full deal lifecycle
- Mentor and develop junior members of the corporate finance team
- Collaborate with wider service lines to maximise cross-selling opportunities
- Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the broader advisory practice
Candidate Profile
We are keen to speak with experienced Corporate Finance professionals who are already operating at Director or Partner level within a recognised advisory, accountancy, or boutique corporate finance environment. Candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong and demonstrable origination capability with an established professional network
- Proven success leading mid-market M&A transactions
- A strong track record of winning and delivering advisory mandates
- Commercial credibility with owner-managed businesses, corporates, and investors
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills

- ACA / ACCA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification
