Redactive Media Group Limited is the UK's leading content and publishing services agency for membership organisations. We create award‑winning multimedia content that engages clients with their members and prospective audiences across magazines, websites, video, podcasts, events and more. We are looking for a talented display media sales business development manager to join our experienced and driven sales team. The role involves generating revenue from key clients, delivering effective account management, and developing new business across niche B2B magazine brands and large‑scale events. You will sell print, digital channels, sponsored events, and annual awards, primarily via outbound telephone calls and face‑to‑face meetings at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage revenue streams for Redactive’s portfolio of media brands.
  • Make effective outbound sales telephone calls and attend industry events to meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders across engineering and other sectors.
  • Collaborate with editorial, publishing, and commercial teams to deliver tailored media solutions.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals to senior audiences.
  • Negotiate contracts and produce reports demonstrating ROI for large‑scale campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and campaign executions.

Qualifications

  • Extensive track record in display and sponsorship media sales, including account management and new business development, with demonstrable experience in the engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of publishing/media sales and marketing principles, especially across multimedia channels.
  • Experience presenting to senior audiences and developing high levels of new business.
  • Proven ability to create compelling sales proposals and sell content solutions.
  • High‑level negotiation skills and experience reporting on large‑scale campaigns.
  • Clear communication, influencing skills, and a solutions‑oriented mentality.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • A proactive, ethical sales approach and resilience under pressurised situations.
  • Proficiency with basic IT and digital analytics platforms.
