Red12 Recruitment are working with a long-established logistics client in Ipswich who are looking to add an experienced HGV Class 2 Tramper Driver to their operation. This position is suited to drivers who enjoy being out on the road, working long-distance routes and putting solid hours in each week. The work is not local; multidrop routes are planned nationwide deliveries with overnight stays in the vehicle throughout the week.

What The Role Involves

  • Nationwide Class 2 deliveries
  • Tramping Monday to Friday
  • Long-distance routes across the UK
  • Early starts and long working days
  • Between 25 deliveries per day depending on route
  • Ongoing work with a consistent workload

Pay & Benefits

  • £18.00 per hour PAYE
  • £20.00 per hour after 10 hours worked daily
  • Night out allowance paid in addition to hourly rate
  • Weekly pay
  • Regular ongoing work

We're Looking For Drivers Who:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have previous tramping experience
  • Are comfortable working long hours
  • Can work independently and manage their time effectively
  • Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills

Additional Experience

  • Multi drop experience essential
  • Tail lift experience preferred
  • Experience with nationwide delivery work beneficial
