Red12 Recruitment are working with a long-established logistics client in Ipswich who are looking to add an experienced HGV Class 2 Tramper Driver to their operation. This position is suited to drivers who enjoy being out on the road, working long-distance routes and putting solid hours in each week. The work is not local; multidrop routes are planned nationwide deliveries with overnight stays in the vehicle throughout the week.
What The Role Involves
- Nationwide Class 2 deliveries
- Tramping Monday to Friday
- Long-distance routes across the UK
- Early starts and long working days
- Between 25 deliveries per day depending on route
- Ongoing work with a consistent workload
Pay & Benefits
- £18.00 per hour PAYE
- £20.00 per hour after 10 hours worked daily
- Night out allowance paid in addition to hourly rate
- Weekly pay
- Regular ongoing work
We're Looking For Drivers Who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have previous tramping experience
- Are comfortable working long hours
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills
Additional Experience
- Multi drop experience essential
- Tail lift experience preferred
- Experience with nationwide delivery work beneficial
