For our international client, we are currently looking for an experienced Ubuntu OS Engineer/Architect. Your main task is to support the client in managing Ubuntu OS as part of a centrally managed solution for their developers. Hands-on experience with Ubuntu OS in an enterprise environment is a must. Experience as an Engineer or Architect with experience in connecting laptops to the network as well as security set-ups is a must.

Tasks:

  • Support client in managing Ubuntu OS as part of a centrally managed solution for their developers
  • Technical expertise in Ubuntu OS
  • Advise customer on connection to Network and Security set-ups
  • Advise customer on connection of Ubuntu OS to Azure Entra ID
  • Connect Ubuntu OS to office WIFI
  • Take ownership for managing approx. 100 laptops on Ubuntu OS
  • Daily business support and bug fixing
  • Best practice advice

Requirements:

  • Strong project experience with Ubuntu OS
  • Hands-on experience with Ubuntu OS as an Architect or Engineer
  • Experience in managing approx. 100 laptops
  • Project experience in advising on connection to the network and security set-ups
  • Advise customer on how to send PKI automatically and centrally to the user laptops
  • Act as interface between technical team
