We're currently looking for an experienced KDB+ Developer to join a major financial services client in London. You'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimising KDB+/q solutions supporting Real Time market data, analytics and reporting platforms. The role requires strong experience with KDB+ architecture, performance tuning and large-scale time-series datasets.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of commercial KDB+ development experience
- Strong expertise in q programming
- Experience with TP, RDB and HDB architectures
- Strong understanding of time-series databases and market data environments
- Experience optimising performance, latency and scalability
- Linux/Unix experience including Shell Scripting
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Desirable:
- Investment Banking or Trading experience
- Equities, FX, Futures or Derivatives exposure
- Kafka or Solace experience
- CI/CD and DevOps tooling knowledge
