Job Description

* Data Modeler – Hybrid in London – Initial 6 Month Contract – Leading Organisation.*

RED are currently looking for a a Data Modeler to work on a project with a key client of ours based in London. This position is an urgent requirement and ideally looking to get someone starting in the next 2 weeks but can be flexible. This is a Hybrid position, 3 days a week on site and 2 days at home and we are offering an initial 12 month contract + likely extensions.

We are looking for skills in the following:

  • Nexus Lifecycle – usage, configuration, and integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maven POM configuration – including dependency management and custom plugin setup.
  • Kubernetes scaling practices – how candidates have scaled workloads in production clusters (autoscaling, resource limits, etc.).
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) – deployment and operations.
  • Azure migration – hands-on experience moving workloads into Azure.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities at the command line (eg, diagnosing performance, permissions, process issues).
  • Ability to give specific examples of commands and approaches used in real scenarios.
  • Scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.) – writing and maintaining automation scripts.
  • GitLab pipelines – configuring and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD workflows.
