We are looking for an experienced UI Engineer to join a delivery-focused team working on modern, cloud-based applications. The role is hands-on, with a strong emphasis on building high-quality user interfaces and collaborating closely with design and engineering teams. This is a hybrid onsite contract role in Belfast, requiring regular collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Translate Figma designs into high-quality, reusable UI components
- Collaborate with UX designers, Back End engineers, and product stakeholders
- Integrate Front End applications with AWS-hosted services
- Ensure UI performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Contribute to UI standards, best practices, and component libraries
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript
- Proven UI engineering/Front End development background
- Experience working with Figma and close design-to-dev collaboration
- Exposure to AWS environments (working with cloud-hosted applications)
- Solid understanding of modern UI/UX principles
- Comfortable working in agile, delivery-driven teams
