Our maritime client is recruiting for a Recruitment Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for crew on cruise ships and will handle some marine personnel duties, such as preparation, follow-up, and execution of timed rotation schedules. You will also ensure that all onboarding processes are followed and that new joiners for vessels have the appropriate paperwork.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment for crew in the cruise/yacht industry
  • Knowledge of STCW documentation, accounting, budgets, and OPEXs (preferred)
  • Sea-going experience on a cruise ship (preferred)
  • Educational qualification - course graduate, business, or maritime (preferred)
  • High competency in MS applications and data entry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and work ethic

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist the technical department with sourcing and processing additional crew/technicians
  • Coordinate officer and crew inductions liaising with recruitment teams
  • Manage crew rotations and coordinate crew changes with agents and vessels
  • Plan reliefs and communicate with seafarers and manning agencies to ensure timely relief
  • Issue employment contracts and joining instructions
  • Ensure compliance with endorsements and tax-related forms for crew
  • Process monthly payroll and request funding from accounts
  • Review and explain variances in OPEX reports
  • Review and approve invoices for travel and manning agencies in Eye-Share
  • Communicate rotation plans with clients and follow up with crew, vessels, and agents
