Our marine client is seeking to add a Project Manager to their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist marine services company. The contract duration is ideally 3–6 months, and the role is based in Greenock.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- Experience working within the marine and oil & gas industries (preferred)
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Experience delivering complex repair or upgrade projects, ideally within a dry dock or similar setting.
- Comfortable in a site-based role and able to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience working alongside internal teams, contractors, and clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Deliver dry dock repair and upgrade projects, typically short-duration (circa one month) and high-volume, within a live operational environment.
- Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to required quality standards.
- Act as the primary interface between internal site teams, subcontractors, and clients, maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities on site, addressing issues and driving progress to meet programme requirements.
- Operate on site as required, supporting efficient project execution and effective stakeholder engagement.
