Our marine client is seeking to add an Estimator to their skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist marine services company. The contract duration will be 3 - 6 Months, and the successful candidate can work from Aberdeen or Greenock.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in custom price building for dry dock work.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and translate them into accurate resource requirements and project timelines.
- Background in steelworks or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Experience working within the marine and oil & gas industries, with rig experience being highly desirable.
- Previous hands-on welding/fabrication experience (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in carrying out technical surveys.
- Competent in developing planners and work programmes.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal operational teams.
