Quantity Surveyor - Façades & Curtain Walling
RED Systems | Wirral | Permanent, Full-time | Hybrid considered
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team, working on specialist façade, curtain walling and architectural glazing projects across the UK.
We're interested in speaking with established Quantity Surveyors as well as experienced Assistant QS's ready to take the next step. Experience in façades, glazing, cladding or specialist subcontracting is desirable.

What you'll be doing
Depending on your experience, you'll support or take ownership of the commercial management of projects, including:
- Managing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasts and CVRs.
- Preparing valuations, managing variations and identifying commercial opportunities and risks.
- Procuring and managing subcontractor and labour-only packages.
- Monitoring costs, margins and project financial performance.
- Managing contractual correspondence and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Working closely with project managers, clients and site teams.
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts.
What we're looking for
- Experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within façades, curtain walling, architectural glazing, cladding or other specialist subcontracting.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualifications and/or demonstrable commercial experience within construction.
- A good understanding of valuations, variations, procurement, cost control and construction contracts.
- Strong commercial awareness, communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively while taking responsibility for your own workload.
- An interest in developing your skills and taking on greater responsibility.

Location and working arrangements
Our head office is in Neston, Wirral (CH64 3RU).
The role is primarily office-based for those living within 20 miles of our HQ, although we're happy to consider hybrid working arrangements for suitable candidates living further afield. Some travel to project sites will be required.
