B2B Sales Manager – IT Hardware Sales

Location: Hybrid (2/3 days in London per week)

We are actively seeking a seasoned B2B Sales Manager for a small yet impactful Certified B Corp scale-up business with ambitious goals in combating e-waste and expanding its footprint. The business specializes in recycling technology from businesses, purging data from devices and refurbishing and redeploying reliable and affordable devices to schools, charities, and SMEs, empowering more children and adults to thrive in a digital world whilst reducing electronic waste.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven B2B Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth, foster long-term client relationships, and play a pivotal role in expanding impact. Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Management:

  • New Business Development: Proactively prospect and expand the client base using your industry knowledge and personal network.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with an existing portfolio of clients across schools, charities and businesses. Understand evolving customer needs and identify innovative ways to expand the portfolio of products and services offered.
  • IT Solution Sales: Tailor IT solutions to meet diverse client needs, emphasizing affordability, sustainability and quality.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrate exceptional care for schools and charities, ensuring their needs are prioritized and fostering trust and loyalty.

Public Sector Tendering and Winning Government Contracts:

  • Identify, pursue, and win tenders in public and private sectors, including large-scale, multi-site, multi-year contracts.
  • Prepare and submit competitive, client-focused proposals that meet technical and operational specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage the delivery of large-scale contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and technical standards.
  • Develop scalable service models to support contract execution and ensure long-term client satisfaction.

Supply Chain Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure a consistent stock of popular device models and source IT assets against specifications driven by your sales orders.
  • Actively expand the network of suppliers to secure profitable device batches and reduce sourcing costs.

Customer Feedback and Quality Standards:

  • Provide customer feedback to drive the setting of quality standards for refurbished IT equipment, including technical specifications, warranties, and sustainability benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to streamline logistics, inventory tracking, and client-specific reporting.

E-Commerce Development:

  • Partner with Product and Development teams to design and implement a B2B e-commerce platform, enabling a scalable self-serve approach for small to medium-sized transactions.
  • Incorporate client feedback and market insights to refine platform features and enhance user experience.

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

  • Align sales activities with strategy, contributing to environmental and social goals.
