We're looking for physically fit and reliable individuals to join our chicken catching teams. This is hands-on, active work that requires care, stamina and a genuine respect for animal welfare — and it pays accordingly.
You'll be working safely within the strict guidelines of the RSPCA and Red Tractor Assurance Schemes, with full training provided from day one.
Based out of our Telford, Shropshire hub, we operate locally and nationwide. Some overnight stays will be required for distant sites — transport and hotel accommodation are fully provided by us.
What you'll be doing
- Catching and handling poultry humanely to the highest welfare standards
- Loading birds for transportation as part of a trained team
- Carrying out full depopulations, partial catches and pullet moves
- Following strict biosecurity protocols on every site visit
- Working flexible and sometimes irregular shift patterns including early starts
What we're looking for
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding manual work
- Reliable with a genuine work ethic
- Comfortable working early mornings and irregular hours
- A team player who takes animal welfare seriously
- Able to follow strict biosecurity procedures
No experience? No problem. Some of our best people started with none. We'll provide all the training and support you need — all we ask is that you show up with the right attitude.
