We are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated Inclusion Manager to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential and ensuring that every student feels valued, included, and able to succeed.

Working closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams, families, and external agencies, the successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, improving attendance, removing barriers to learning, and supporting the wellbeing and achievement of all students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate inclusion strategies to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Work proactively with students at risk of disengagement, exclusion, or persistent absence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
  • Support the implementation of behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and pastoral policies.
  • Coordinate interventions and support plans for vulnerable students.
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and behaviour data to identify trends and implement effective support strategies.
  • Contribute to the school's commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, pastoral, safeguarding, or inclusion setting.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges facing young people in urban secondary schools.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive and professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience of multi‐agency working and coordinating support for vulnerable young people.
  • Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to improving outcomes for all students.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, attendance, behaviour management, and inclusion practices.
